Editorial policy
The rules our reviews follow, and what to do if you think we got something wrong.
Independence
Sellers do not pay for reviews, do not see reviews before they are published, and cannot ask us to change a result. Affiliate commissions do not depend on what a review concludes.
How we choose products
We cover products that readers are actively searching for, especially ones sold with strong marketing claims. Being covered is not an endorsement.
Sourcing
Factual statements come from primary sources: the seller’s official pages and policies, product labels, regulatory records and published studies. Each review lists its sources and the date they were checked. When we cannot find a source, we say so instead of guessing.
Hands-on claims
We only describe using a product when we actually have, and the review states it. Reviews without hands-on use are clearly labeled as research based on documents. We never publish invented testimonials.
Use of software and AI tools
We use software, including AI tools, to help collect and organize public information such as policy pages. Every claim status and every factual statement is checked by a person against the cited source before publication.
Health topics
Our content is general information, not medical advice. We avoid language that suggests a product diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any disease, and we encourage readers to talk to a qualified professional.
Corrections
If you find an error, email hello@clearpickreviews.com with the page and the issue. When we confirm a mistake, we fix it and add a dated correction note to the page.
