How we review
Every review follows the same process, so you can judge our work the same way we judge a product: by its sources.
The process
Find the official sources
We start with what the seller publishes: the product page, the label or ingredient list, the refund policy and the terms of sale. We save the address and the date of every page we use.
List the claims
We write down each promise the seller makes, in the seller’s own words, so readers can see exactly what is being claimed.
Check each claim
For every claim we look for a primary source: a policy page, a regulatory record, or a published study on the same formula. Each claim then gets one of three statuses: confirmed, not verified or contradicted.
Say what we could not check
We only describe personal experience with a product when we have actually used it, and we say so. Everything else is research based on documents, and the review makes that clear.
Date it and check again
Offers, prices and policies change. Every review shows when it was last checked, and we update or correct it when the sources change.
What each result means
- Confirmed
- The claim matches the manufacturer’s official page or a primary source that we link to, on the date shown in the review.
- Not verified
- We could not find a primary source that supports the claim. It may be true, but the evidence was not available to us.
- Contradicted
- The evidence we found says something different from the claim, for example a policy page with other terms.

What we do not do
- We do not write personal experiences for products we have not used.
- We do not publish star ratings or scores without a documented method.
- We do not accept payment from sellers for reviews or for changing a review.
- We do not give medical advice. Health questions belong with a qualified professional.
